In each of the NCEES topics there are key concepts and skills that will most likely be tested on the FE exam. These concepts and skills have been filtered from the outline topics based on whether or not the item can be tested in 3 minutes, and whether or not it is too focused and in depth for the exam.

I graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 2006 with a B.S. General Engineering Degree. I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and after college I returned home. I worked for Insynergy Engineering as a Mechanical/Fire Protection Engineering consultant for over 10 years, although my degree was in general engineering. I am registered as a Mechanical Engineer in Hawaii and a Fire Protection Engineer in California. I also took the Power PE exam in April 2020 and passed.
